RotorLib FDM for MATLAB and Simulink now available

Rosenheim, Germany – 25th June 2010, RTDynamics announced, today, the immediate availability of RotorLib FDM for MATLAB®, a MATLAB toolbox and a Simulink block library that provides high fidelity helicopter flight dynamics model for control system and flight dynamics engineering.

RotorLib FDM allows developers to model and simulate conventional helicopter types as well as unmanned rotary-wing aircrafts. The MATLAB toolbox is a collection of MATLAB functions and allows MATLAB users to simulate helicopter flight dynamics. A fast trim finder is also available as a MATLAB function.

The Simulink block library provides a continuous helicopter model block for use in a Simulink models. The block can be used to simulate a helicopter to develop control system and auto pilot control laws. Examples Simulink models are available showing use of the block for linearization and attitude hold controller development.
